about

This soundtrack was number 3 in Electronic Sound Magazine's top 10 soundtracks of 2020.

Original Concretism soundtrack to the pilot episode of Dick and Stewart, an animated series written, directed and animated by Richard Littler (Scarfolk); produced by Rook Films (A Field in England, Kill List, In Fabric, Happy New Year Colin Burstead); narrated by Julian Barratt (The Mighty Boosh, Nathan Barley, Garth Merenghi's Darkplace, Mindhorn); sound design and mix by Chris Sharp.

The animation is a dark spoof of 1970s kids' cartoons like Mr Ben and Mary, Mungo and Midge, and is set in an inescapable dystopian town. So far only the pilot has been made.

Originally released on vinyl on 16th October 2020.

This download includes the 10 tracks used in the episode, as well as 16 tracks of music written for the episode but never used.
